Anyone can hire an exclusive Kuperus Sloop with us, for no navigation licence is needed.Sailing these boats is relatively easy, and so is the navigation code. If necessary you will be given full instructions before departure.
Itinary
A hydrographical map of the area will be found on board. You set out from Workum, one of the Frisian Eleven Cities, situated on the IJsselmeer coast and have one of our beautiful Kuperus sloops at your disposal for just one day, a week-end, or a full week. The sloops are built, sold and rented by us.
Starting from Workum you will immediately find yourself right in the middle of the magnificent sailing area surrounding Heeg – Sloten – Balk – Hindeloopen.
There are both the beautiful open water of Heeg Lake and the sheltered waters cutting through the woods of Gaasterland in the direction of Hindeloopen.

Sail, relax and enjoy yourself. Find a mooring place in the middle of nowhere or tie up at one of the small restaurants or eating places.
The Sloops –for a maximum of 6 persons- are equipped with reliable diesel engines.
